    Hello,

    When I installed the plugin everything worked properly. But recently when I click on optimize image, no optimization is done. Also, when I inspect my new webpages I can see that all images are either img or png. However, they should all be automatically converted to webp when I upload them, as I switched that feature on.

    Thank you for your message.

    Please tell me, after installing the plugin, did you convert all the images in the plugin settings? You can do this in the Bulk Optimization of Images section.

    its a global issue….not working for me it skips all images mostly …doing nothing

    @zsolt999 Images are skipped in several situations, but it usually happens when the image after conversion to WebP format is not smaller than the original. In such cases, the plugin uses the original image in WebP format instead. This happens when the images were previously compressed or when they are really light. These are limitations of WebP format.

    To assess the exact situation, please provide statistics after the bulk image optimization process is finished. Below I have attached the tutorial describing how to test the plugin:
