WebP by SG optimizer and WP Offload Media

    We use Siteground hosting and SG optimizer to convert images to WebP, so WebP images load on pages\posts. 

But when we offload images to storage by WP Offload Media, the images load on pages\posts in the original format (jpg), not in the WebP format. However, the WebP format is also uploaded; we checked.

There is no problem using ewww image optimizer instead of SG optimizer (WebP images loaded from storage)but for performance, we have to use SG optimizer.

    Hi,

    We currently don’t test or support using SG image optimizer. But as you’ve figured out already, we do support the EWWW optimizer. We may add support for other image optimizers in the future though.

    At the moment, all I can do is to add your request as a vote for SG optimizer.
