    Hi guys,

The 5.4 update seems to be broken. My pagespeed scores have dropped dramatically and webp seems to be multiplying filesizes, not minimising them.

I’m finding better results using a combination of Autoptimize & W3 Cache.

The webp generation is not broken. However, in certain cases the webp images are bigger than the original ones. That’s why we’ve modified the conversion process to produce smaller and better optimized webp copies of your files.

Please update to 5.4.1, delete all webp images and generate them anew. If properly configured SG Optimizer outperforms any other plugin on SiteGround servers but if you insist, you can use any other plugin or combination plugin if you feel they work better for you.

I wish you guys would take criticism towards this plugin constructively, instead of personally.

Ever since this latest update, my site performs poorer than it did previously.
I also had no problems with SG Optimizer & Revolution Slider at all until this most recent update.

I am not, really ?? The webp conversion is improved and we’ve assured the minimal image size. As to Revolution Slider I am unaware of any problems. If you want us to look at it, we will but please provide us with some data to work with.

I’ve had to turn off javascript defer and minify to get it working again. I had no conflict mode enabled in Revslider as well.

Previous versions of this plugin were amazing, but this latest release doesn’t perform as good as it did previously.

There is no change in the JS Defer or Minify in this plugin version. Please, contact Revolution Slider to get further assistance for it. Most probably, there are scripts that you need to exclude from optimizations to have them working. We’ve created an easy to use interface for that.

It worked fine previously. Newest version of SG Optimizer strips out my slider completely.
