Webmentions not handled properly

Hey @didierjm – thanks for flagging this. Can I just check how you’re including those webmentions and like/reposts? Are they coming via a specific plugin?

Hi @jordesign, I use the Webmention plugin by Pfefferle + IndieWeb and Syndication Links plugins.

Have the same configuration on a 2nd blog that uses the Twenty Twenty theme (and the “old” way then) and there are no problems.

Hey @didierjm – thanks for clarifying. It sounds like it’s a bit of a tricky balance there. There would be some expectation that a plugin handles its own styling for the elements that are added – but given Comment themes are generally part of the theme – there may be some conflict there.

I’d recommend opening a Feature Request for TwentyTwentyThree to request those styles be added here:

That being said – development is currently underway for Twenty Twenty Four – so there may be limited resources to work on Twenty Twenty Three.

Thx @jordesign, I understand, but the risk of perpetuating the same behavior in the next Theme is IMHO not negligible.
