webhost Error

Got this error below:
Please talk to your webhost and have them update the upload_max_filesize to 6M in the php.ini settings.
Currently it is set to a much smaller size that is preventing the file upload. After this setting is updated, you can come back to this page and try to upload dap zip file again.

What does this mean? How can it be corrected.
Trying to upload a plugin and show error.
