Webhooks deleting our inventory records

  • Hi,
    I am using wp shopify free plugin 2.2.0. We are just using the plugin for syncing shopify products with webhooks. The problem is that inside shopify our inventory records are being deleted after every sync.

    It seems like there is a 2 way communication between the plugin and shopify. And when the inventory levels are updated inside the wordpress after the syncing it communicates those inventory levels to shopify and it messes up the inventory inside shoify admin.

    Can we stop the communication from wordpress to shopify.

    Hey there,

    I can confirm that the plugin does not delete or update anything inside Shopify. The plugin is read-only, and will not modify your Shopify store.

    So the changes you’re experiencing must be coming from somewhere else.

    The only exception to this rule is when a user purchases a product. But again, this is technically using the default Shopify checkout page so the inventory isn’t adjusted within WordPress at all.
