• Hi,
there is the way to upload links via csv manually in the admin backend.
    Question:
Is there an easy way to start this import of links via webhook?
    Thanks,

Can you explain more what you mean by being able to import links via a webhook? Are you talking about things like extending the WordPress REST API? I am not familiar with the expression to import via a webhook.

    Hi,
    coming from the desired outcome:
Be able to trigger import of csv file. (could be always the same).
Reason behind that is that links should be automatically updated (or extended) occasionally. (The real cool solution would be the possibility to connect the links to a airtable table to be honest;))
    Hope that makes it clearer.

I’ve never had any requests along the lines of automating recurring imports / refreshes of link data. I will look at adding the ability to schedule a recurring links import, where you could specify a frequency and a local file to be imported. I’ll try to get to this in the next couple of weeks.

As for integrating with a service like AirTable, I’d never heard of it until today and have not had requests of users wanting to manage their links in an external application and having them sync automatically to their site. Is this for your own web site needs or for a customer project? I’d be open to discuss funding such an integration if you really want to see something like this added. Hi Yannick,
    thanks for the openness:
Regarding the frequency, I guess the simple 3 ones (daily, weekly, monthly) would cover all relevant use cases that anybody might have.
I thought further, regarding possible solutions out of the use case I wrote:
A less overhead way would come up, if it would be possible to set the url path for the csv file (also from another server). So, all websites will get the import file from one sftp place – & so, only one source has to be maintained.
Combined with the scheudling set up – it would just work fine => a reliable easy way, with no webhook included.
Does that make sense for you?
