Stripe is our chosen payment gateway, but we’ve been getting emails from them saying there is “trouble sending requests in live mode to a webhook endpoint associated with your Teakisi account”.

Any chance someone can help please?

    Hi @kimi07,

    Happy to help here.

First, make sure the webhook URL is correct. Next, check the Webhook Attempts in your Stripe account and see if there are any failed attempts. If there are failed attempts, check what the HTTP Status Code is for those attempts.

Here’s a quick screencast to show you how to find that in your Stripe dashboard: https://somup.com/cr1rFGqdhX

    Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the response and video.
Have followed it and there are 4,316 failed results. Reason given is
    503 (Service Unavailable).

Thanks for the update. The 503 error indicates that the server is not ready to handle the request for some reason.

Do you use any sort of caching/firewall plugin such as WordFence? Ask your host if they have any firewall that’s blocking incoming traffic from Stripe.

Have checked in with the hosts and they’ve said no to all.

We also don’t have a firewall plugin. What do you think I could do next?

    Thanks

The server should have recorded the 503 error in the logs. Is there any info there that could give us a clue about what triggered the error?

    Hi @kimi07,

    Just following up here.
Do you still need assistance here?

Did you find anything in the server error log that mentions a 503 error?

Double-check the webhook URL in your Stripe dashboard. Make sure it does not have any trailing slash: https://screencast-o-matic.com/i/cr1U3sV1pDO

I didn’t check because we received an email saying they had finally been able to connect. Also not getting their daily reminders that there is a problem so am assuming it somehow fixed itself?

    thanks
