Hello I setup Stripe via Payment Plugins for Stripe and have had no issues for months now. This morning I received an email from Stripe about webhooks? I configured stripe through Payment Plugins and didnt set anything else up. Is this something I should be concerned about? *I saw an update was just done, is this related? Here is the email from Stripe:(Should I be concerned?):

“We’ve had some trouble sending requests in live mode to a webhook endpoint associated with your [my website] account. Stripe sends webhook events to your server to notify you of activity in your Stripe account, such as a completed payout or a newly-created invoice.

The URL of the failing webhook endpoint is:

    https://www.Mywebsite/?wc-api=wc_stripe%20

You (or someone on your team) configured your Stripe account to send events to that URL. You can change your account’s webhook endpoints from the Dashboard.”

    Hi @shawnhonolulu

That webhook is for another Stripe plugin. You were likely using another Stripe plugin before switching to ours and that old webhook is failing since you don’t have that Stripe plugin active anymore.

You can safely remove the failing webhook by going to stripe.com > developers > webhooks.

    Kind Regards

Thank you for the quick reply @mrclayton. Is it ok if I dont remove the webhook? Will it harm or conflict with Payment Plugins for Stripe?

I would recommend that you do since that webhook is for a plugin that you’re not using anymore. Leaving it won’t serve any purpose and you will keep getting emails from Stripe informing you that it’s failing.

Will it harm or conflict with Payment Plugins for Stripe?

No, it won’t interfere but I recommend you remove it.
