WebFinger-Endpunkt liefert kein gültiges JSON

Dear team,

i activated the ActivityPub-Plugin and went through the setup. Basically it works, but some things seem to be missing.

1. I get an error inside the WordPress plugin which states: “Dein WebFinger-Endpunkt https://www.videospielgeschichten.de/.well-known/webfinger?resource=acct:[email protected] liefert kein gültiges JSON für application/jrd+json.”
2. I edited the .htaccess file in the root of my web server because my blog lives under “/vsg_prod/”. The file contains this:

RedirectMatch “^\/.well-known/(webfinger|nodeinfo|x-nodeinfo2)(.*)$” /vsg_prod/.well-known/$1$2

I can see and follow my new instance with the name “@[email protected]” on Mastodon, but some people are unable to find that instance.

I unsure if my setup is correct but the error within WordPress needs to be fixed IMO.

Can someone help me out? I would really like to use the plugin and the federation features.
