Web Stream Support?

    I’m having trouble connecting the new Google Analytics into this plugin. The Wizard continues to give me authentication errors. If I manually try to enter my Web Stream details I also get errors. It appears that the new Google Analytics Web Stream doesn’t use a UA- code but a G- code and I continue to get Invalid UA code when entering the information.

    What are the suggestions to make new Web Streams work with this plugin?

  • I am in a similar situation. I can get it to work with any of my sites that have a “UA” code but I created a new account/property with Google Analytics and their new default is a “Google Analytics 4 Property” which begins with a “G” code.

    When I try to add the account to MonsterInsights I can see my whole list of UA codes but the new property option does not appear in the list.

    The only solution I can see is to go back in to Google Analytics and create the old “UA” type universal code. I can access this option under “advanced options” when creating a property. https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/10269537

    Which, of course, does not answer your how to make Web Streams work with Monster Insights…
