We began publishing new web stories and saw decent traffic from them. Suddenly in mid November traffic dropped to zero.

I thought it was because of amp errors from our them. That was fixed. The next day impressions went back up to 300 so I thought the problem was resolved.

However, its been zero everyday since then.

There are no amp errors. Sites are indexed. Best practices followed. I reached out on Google Search Console and they said everything was perfect.

Any idea on what is going on. I included a link to one of the stories I just published yesterday to test and again zero impressions.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @jreinke12 thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately, we can only assist you with help and troubleshooting for the Web Stories plugin itself. Any issues relating to traffic drops fall out of the scope of this support forum. You can find more information on this in our pinned notice?here.

This same issue gets mentioned many times. It’s a shame the reply is never that there may in fact be issues with the plug in. 0 traffic in Discover is not necessarily an issue with google. It could be an issue with the plug in. But the plug in support consistently sees the word traffic and replies that it isnt their problem.
