Hello, I’m having a problem viewing web stories. When I add the web stories for viewing on the page they are shown in a grid as rectangles, so far so good. But when I click, both on mobile and desktop the web stories is smaller than the screen and aligned on the top/left. I’ve tried all the ways to include using the button found in the default wordpress text editor.

    I use the Avada theme.

Here are examples of what I’m talking about, how the webstories look after being clicked.

  • @diemano Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. I’ll be happy to help but could you provide a few more details?

It looks like your actual Stories URL view is okay.

    – Are you able to temporarily deactivate your theme and switch to a default theme like Twenty-Twenty One to test if the issue subsides?

You can use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and enable its troubleshooting mode. This mode disables active plugins and switches to a default theme safely because it only affects the experience of the logged-in user.

    – Please enable the Web Stories plugin and let me know if the issue is present.
    – Enabling your theme and plugins one by one in this mode may help pinpoint if something else is involved.
    – Note you can disable troubleshooting mode from the plugins page.

Thanks for the feedback. I did the tests and it seems to me that the error is in Avada’s own plugins, Avada Core and Avada Builder. When I turned them off the web story worked perfectly. Unfortunately I can’t find anything on google about this conflict.

    Thank you anyway!!!

@diemano Thanks for the update! Perhaps you can reach out to the theme/plugin developer for further support. I’m glad you were able to pinpoint what the cause was anyway. We’ll close the topic here but feel free to reach out in a new support topic if you encounter any other issues.
