    @mathclash hello there! The Web Stories plugin should not be contributing to your high CPU usage. This could be caused by a number of different things such as plugin conflicts, and multiple services/programs running at the time of use among other factors.

    What browser, browser version, and operating device are you using? Do you have multiple tabs of the editor open at the same time?

    I would be happy to look into this for you if you could provide the following information:

    1. Your Site Health information that can be shared privately if you prefer via this form. Please include your hosting provider.

    2. Does this issue occur when Web Stories is the only active plugin and using a default theme?

    3. Could you please check for any browser console errors?

    Hello @luckynasan thanks by your message!

    It’s very weird because the usage is about 100% without use, throughout the morning(dawn), and after the day starts the usage beat 200%. So, in flate use, without access admin or any panel the user is over 100%.

    This behavior started when we update the Web Stories plugin.

    I’m using pc with windows and the most recent Chrome edition.

    Thank you, i’ve provide the health information by the forms.

    2. Does this issue occur when Web Stories is the only active plugin and using a default theme?
    How can i test it without affect the site?

    3. Could you please check for any browser console errors?

    @mathclash Thanks for the details.

    You can test without affecting your site by using troubleshooting mode outlined in this guide.

    The other test could be to create a fresh new site on the same hosting plan and just install the Web Stories plugin. Then you can check if you get the same issue on this site as with the other site.

    It could be coming from a theme/plugin which is why we suggest temporarily switching themes & other plugins to see whether these errors go away.

    It’s weird that you get this high CPU usage, especially since you mentioned you are not doing anything in the admin or so, and since you use a caching plugin. The Web Stories plugin does not do any background tasks or anything, so theoretically there should be little usage from Web Stories itself.

    Curious to hear your feedback after troubleshooting.
