You can see in the left sidebar I have added a single web story from the web stories post widget into the sidebar via an html block.

Please advise as to whether this is a practice that ‘works’ for indexing and story interaction etc.

Also please advise as to how we can use the web stories sidebar widget to display a single story into our sidebars.

Important to note as you can see in the page the button to view the story does not appear this way rendering it impossible for a user to access the stories url page.
This is something that would be needed for your sidebar widget.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@emilrueh Thanks for your post. Indexing questions are better suited for the product experts at Google Search as it goes beyond our support for the Web Stories plugin.

There isn’t a Web Stories widget in Elementor. Are you using a plugin to implement the Web Stories sidebar widget?

We appreciate your feedback regarding the single-story display. As you’ve noticed, a single-story embed will autoplay and users navigate to the share button to access the story URL. Note that we are considering alternative options to preview a single-story embed with a preview image and lightbox, and you can monitor the progress of that ticket here.

The story is as mentioned added into the sidebar via a copy of the html code of the webstories post widget (see screenshot)
Please confirm that is a valid and intended option for displaying a single story into a sidebar as seen on this page

    See screenshot for sidebar html.
