Web Stories can’t capture Site Kit Google Analytics integration

    Hello! I have been using Site Kit for a pretty long time and started to use Web Stories last month or so. I couldn’t make Analytics work for me, I activated-deactivated Site Kits a few times, cleared the cache, checked all the forums messages, and couldn’t make it show some analytics. Adding manually Measurement ID didn’t work as well.

    Hi. I was checking this thread for a few days but didn’t found any answer so I forgot to check it daily, sorry for late response.

    I entered the Measurement ID (I masked it in SS), but I still didn’t get any kind of events in analytics at all.

    When viewing your page source code, the analytics configuration appears to be correct. Please reach out to the Google Analytics help center /?Google Analytics forums?for further help with the event tracking.

    Ok, I’ve got this fixed by resetting the Site Kit. I had some temporary problem with GA4 (not relevant to this issue), so while I was fixing the GA4 errors by resetting the Site Kit, the Web Stories and Site Kit plugins have got the connection between them. Now, I have the message in the settings:
    Site Kit by Google has already enabled Google Analytics for your Web Stories, all changes to your analytics tracking should occur there.

    I haven’t received some data yet, but I think this problem has been resolved.
