Web site slow after installing and configuring plugin

    Hi,
    I just installed All in one on my website and I see that after doing this the loading time of the website has increased noticeably.
    Any idea what may be cuasing this? Is this a common experience?
    I did configure the firewall. Could this be a reason for it?

    Hi,

    AIOWPS shouldn’t have much of an impact on your loading times.
    Plugins that are more likely to cause delays are ones such as Contact Forms and Themes.
    What tools are using to optimise your site?
    Are you deferring loading of JS and using lazy load?

    Look at (wp_)options table if you have too many rows with autoliad = yes.
    Since last update “All In One WordPress Security and Firewall Plugin” started to fill the options table with rows with option_name contains aiowps_captcha_string_info… and autolad = yes. Those rows are loaded by WP every time.

    Just checked and apparently that is not happening.
    But also now it doesn’t seem to be so slow.
    As for the question

    What tools are using to optimise your site?
    Are you deferring loading of JS and using lazy load?

    I am not sure what to answer to be honest! How would I check this?
