Web Site field issue

Hi,
I’m having a problem with the primary field “website”. When a user tries to insert an URL from /account/settings page, the field accepts it only if written like https://www.website.com, meanwhile I think people would rather write just https://www.website.com.Is it possible to make the field accept it?

WPUM is using the standard HTML5 url input type. All browsers require the url to have “https://” in front of the string, this is the “standard” validation that all browsers apply by default. Note: you don’t have to add www too.
At the moment the behaviour can only be changed if you directly modify the form template and add the novalidate parameter. This will disable browsers validation from inputs like the URL and Email field.
