WP2.7: Web server hangs while upgrading any plugin

  • Hi,
    I recently upgraded to wordpress 2.7, here I found an annoying behaviour of my web server whenever I try to auto upgrade any of my plugin. The web server hangs permanently and all of my sites go down until I restart my server with help of the support staff. I want to know if this is some WP bug or problem with my web server? Any solution?
