web pages show dashboard and looks like you could edit it

  • not update site because it work OK and didn’t want to screw it up. but this week had 3 phone calls from people who said they edit my site, when i open it. The home looked OK, but rest of the pages look like the dashboard and dose look like you could edit it. can any one help me with this, https://www.altys-of-preston.co.uk/ web sit was set up for me i have only added picture, i have also noted when i been to edit page their a lot of codes i have not seen before, thank for any help given

    Definitely something a bit FUBAR going on there.

    Assuming you are not technical – I would speak to either the person who set it up for you – or your hosting company.

    Could be a hack, could just be broken / out of date.

    Either way, like you said, you need to update it in the future.

    no am not technical that why i have left alone not even updated it. the guy who set it up no longer in business, some one must have see this before.

    A good place to start if you can work it out is to and reinstall WordPress, though it might be beyond that now…

    Or you could try and speak to your hosting company, bit of a long-shot but they might help.

    Do you know anyone else that is technical that can help?

    Try updating to the latest version and removing all plugins for now. See if that fixes the problem.

    well i would but it has seem to have gone, please be fault with my computer

    thank for all the trouble, found a old save copy reloaded it and bingo pay to have back up, just lost one link to a photo, i been lucky don’t know why it got so corrupt it the first place and why it vanished,

    Remember to try and keep it up to date if you can. Even if you just log on every couple of months and update everything.

    don’t know if I should start a new topic, but since the above my web page as vanish from the internet about 20 times now. the guy who host this for me is getting fed up of down loaded it for me, he puts it on and a couple of days later it s gone. I don’t understand why.
    can anyone help. he’s change all the passwords even I cant get on.
