• Good morning all,

I have a web site that I “inherited.” I have admin access to it. I need to make edits to various web pages created by WordPress on the site.

However those web pages are not showing up in the listing when I click “Pages.”

They ARE showing up under Appearance/Menu so I know they are there and WordPress knows about them. But for some reason they’re not showing up under Pages where I can make changes to them.

I know I’m probably missing something small and silly. Thanks for your help.

  • After login as admin, go to the page on the front-end and click ‘Edit Page’ from the admin bar (on the top)…

I am logged in as a user with admin rights (there is not user listed with the name “admin”) and went to the web page generated by WordPress as specified.

Unfortunately there is no “Edit Page” option listed.

Is there a specific user that needs to be created in order to do that which the admin doesn’t have the rights to?

    Thanks for all your help.

So I went and created a new admin user thinking that it might be a rights issue.

Unfortunately it’s the same thing; still no “Edit Page” part.
