• I am new to designing web sites, this is my first one. I have set it up for our charity. We now have the home page only. We have lost the pictures and when you use one of the tabs we get the message “web page can not be found”.If any can give me some advice on what could be the problem and how to fix it. Please keep it simple.

  • Obviously, you have .htaccess file corrupted. There must be similar issues popping up on this forum once in while. Please search for them.

I represent a local peace & justice organization with a Web site created from a WordPress theme. Until recently, I have maintained our group’s web pages on a weekly basis. After we moved, I contacted the person who created and who hosts our Web site and asked her to change our address. Sicne then, I have been unable to find our platform (used to be https://www.topekacpj.org/wp-login.php) in order to log in. Our host doesn’t return our phone calls. Someone from another local company told me that it’s possible that our host has lost or corrupted our data base. Not sure what that means.
    My questions are:
Is there a way for Word Press to help us regain access to our Web site?
How would we go about getting to the point where we can use our domain name again? Have we lost, for all practical purposes, our ability to use our domain name?

Looks like you need to redo your permalinks.

Duane, you should start a new thread instead of hijacking someone else’s – you’ll get more help that way.
