Web librarian admin menus not seen when logged in as Librarian

Hi,
I use s2member pluggin to manage members on my wordpress site. I have web librarian installed successfully using the wordpress pluggin installer. The web librarian roles are visible in wordpress users section. However, I cannot edit the patrons id of current wordpress members, cannot see the web librarian admin (although I logged in as the librarian) where I can add books and do other book management functions. Is this strictly an incompatible problem or anything to do with the membership pluggin?

I am a bit worried because in the (s2member—general options—membership profile modification–redirect members away from the default profile panel?), I selected “Yes-redirect to login welcome page; locking all /wp-admin/areas” which is the s2 member recommended setting. Could this be a contributor?
