• Hello, all-

I just found out my web host, SiteGround, is no longer PCI Compliant.

Would this prevent me from achieving PCI Compliance on an Ecommerce website using a plugin that keeps my website completely out of the payment process (like PayPal)?

I’ve been doing a lot of reading and it looks there are three areas in the PCI directives I might need to be concerned about:
    1. Firewall
    2. Virus Protection
    3. Develop and maintain secure systems and applications

I’m thinking these would apply only to my credit card processor. Is that true?

Or should I be looking for a new web host?

    Best,

    Chris

Did you get that via a PCI compliance audit? If so the audit may explain the whats and whys and how you can remediate that.

Actually, no, I read about it somewhere on the web (not sure where, now) and confirmed it with three different support people at SG.
