Is it possible for a newbe like me to make a web hook, that will, after submitting a post, show on the map with a custom marker depending on country selected and a header and note attached to the marker.
Or does a plugin already exist, that will take care of this?

My idea, is a website, where a doctor can enter the information on a patient in a foreign country that needs to be transportet back to his own country. This has to be displayed on a map after submitting patient information.

    thx

there is the MapsMarker API that could be used for that – see documentation at https://mapsmarker.com/mapsmarker-api

    Hi Robert.

    Thx for the fast reply.

I’ve set up an API, but do I need to do a lot of coding, to make a webhook that will post a submit via NinjaForms or other form into MapsMarker?

I’m kind of stuck in how to post the submitted for into MapsMarker.

    Hi Peter,

when using one of the MapsMarker APIs, some form of custom coding is needed, yes. Unfortunately I do not have a working example customised for NinjaForms – please see https://www.mapsmarker.com/mapsmarker-api for example GET or POST requests. You basically need to ensure that NinjaForms form target is the WebAPI for example with the needed parameters.

For pro v2.8 we plan to add support for adding markers from frontend via basic shortcode, this will help to also have the feature “adding markers from frontend” without having to code. Unfortunately I cannot give you a release date yet for this version
    best,

    Robert
