Does wp-cerber provide protection against spam injection on web form elements (i.e. contact form)?

Yes. It’s disabled by default. Enable it on the Cerber’s Antispam admin page.

Do I have to enable the checkbox for “Other forms” with the label “Protect all forms on the website with bot detection engine” (under Antispam / Cerber antispam engine)?
Will this also work with forms that get inserted by a shortcode?
Is there a simple check to be sure that a field is really protected?

    1. Yes, check “Protect all forms on the website with bot detection engine”.
    2. The bot detection engine works with a form that is generated by a shortcode.
    3. To make sure that plugin filter out spam, check the Activity tab. If Cerber detects spam, you should see this events: Spam form submission denied.
