Web dev tool?

I need to redesign my wordpress website. I think, I know, that there are tools out there that will make my life easier in doing this – I know that the industry has matured since I last looked into this and don’t even remember what the options were when I last looked.

In the past I’ve used Fetch and textwrangler. My memory is that there are some tools that will make if much easier for me to tweak the site.
