I’ve fixed most of the validation issues. Do you have any idea how to fix the remaining ones. Can’t seem to solve it.

At least two of your unordered lists (ul) are wrong. You have the list items, but they are not enclosed by the ul tag.

Thanks Rose…Now I’ve seemed to have fixed all the validation issues but the problem still hasn’t changed. Any additional help/tips is appreciated.

Hi, although I’m new to these forums, I’m not new to Validating websites. Your problem might be the use of the <b></b> tags being used. These tags are OK to use in HTML 4.0 DOCTYPE pages but not good practice in XHTML and will pick up errors. Try instead to add font-weight: bold; to your mid_box class in your CSS and take off the <b></b> tags. That should fix the problem of the validation issue. As for the difference in FF and IE that’s an on going issue. You can read more about it HERE and perhaps find a solution.

It’s not the bold tags that don’t validate – he’s using a transitional DOCTYPE so they don’t come up errors. I copied the source and corrected the absence of the UL tags and it validated.

Internet Explorer sucks, I hate it.

As the page is at the moment, it has two errors. If you remove the bold tags the page validates…

    Try it!

Woohoo, the page validated :D. Thanks a ton for the help. I was able to fix the website a little (making the IE version look like Firefox) but stuck again now.

If I were you I would not add that Navigation image since it is not inkeeping with the style of your website. It looks out of place. But if you MUST use it…then do away with the UL tags – they’re not necessary in this context. You also need to insert alt="Navigation" and close the img tag – like so />

On lower down the page you have another UL tag open…CLOSE IT!!!

Fix all these things and you’re back on track!
