Web crashed after plugin activation – How to fix it? Please help

    After activating the plugin, the site completely crashed. It cannot be viewed or logged using wp-admin

    The site is currently showing only

    Unfortunately, I do not have access to the webhosting. I only have a name and password for the wordpress admin account at the site.
    Still, can I do something about it?

    there are many possible reasons for “failed to open stream” – files cannot be loaded. Maybe they could not be copied to the server (out of memory during installation), path could be wrong …
    I have not seen this error before with wp osm plugin, could you load other plugins without problem?
    The way to get out of this situation is to connect via FTP and delete the folder:

    www.varnsdorfskapradelna.cz/www/wp-content/plugins/osm

    The plugin does not create anything automatically, so if you delete this folder it’s fully uninstalled.

    If you do not have access by yourself ask the hoster to delete this folder and ask about the avaible space. Once you can login again, you should find the reason not to get again into the situation.

    Hello,

    I’ve already solved it. From the administrator, I got FTP access data, connected via FIleZilla, renamed the folder and it works.

    Of course, the plug-in has only been disabled. So I deleted it and installed it again. And suddenly it worked.

    I tried it on the second webhosting, where it was installed on the first try.

    Why does this happen and can you prevent it, please?
