Hi, something very strange has happened to me, I think.

I have very strict security measures.

Upon entering my site I am wrong and I am bathed. Normal.

But after doing all that I expose, I’m still banned:

Disable the plugin (I’m still banned)
I rename the plugin (I’m still banned)
I enter from a proxi and I delete the plugin (I’m still banned)
I delete all the rules of .htaccess (I’m still banned)
I clear the cache (27 GB) (I’m still banned)

I update WordPres to version 4.9.2 and the theme and all the plugins (I’m still banned)
I delete the following tables (I’m still banned):

    xJfRuiOpAz_aiowps_events
    xJfRuiOpAz_aiowps_failed_logins
    xJfRuiOpAz_aiowps_global_meta
    xJfRuiOpAz_aiowps_login_activity
    xJfRuiOpAz_aiowps_login_lockdown
    xJfRuiOpAz_aiowps_permanent_block

I install the plugin again (I’m still banned)
I include my IP in the whitelist (I’m still banned)

I’ve tried from three different browsers: Safari, Chrome and Firefox, all from Mac OS High Sierra (version 10.13.3 [17D47] and all three reject the connection.

Other pages that we have on the same server and with the installed plugin are accessible without problems.

WordPress installations are individual, each website has its own installation.

Of course I have rebooted the router and the Mac.

And I’ve run out of ideas and I’m still banned by the plugin.

In addition, the server is own (not shared).

And the truth is I do not know what else to do to unlock this.

When you say you are banned – what is the message or behaviour that you see?

If as you say you deactivated this plugin and removed all of the .htaccess rules then this plugin is not playing any role in the issue you are seeing. There must be something else on your server which is causing this issue.
Have you asked your host support people?

Safari can not open the page “xxxxx.com” because it could not connect to the server “xxxxxx.com”.

    Can not connect

Firefox can not establish a connection with the server at xxxxx.com.

???? The site may be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Please try again in a few moments.
???? If you can not load a page, check your computer’s network connection.
???? If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox has permission to access the web.

Although we will look at the installation and the server has not suffered any modification since it was working properly.

    Solved.

It was the /etc/hosts file when using MAMP PRO on my computer.

Before it worked one way and now another.

    Thank you very much.
