weather_location cookie

  • Hi; how can I know where the “weather_location” cookie comes from?

    I don’t have any weather plugin and I don’t see any point in it.

    I would like to remove it from my wp as I don’t want to have any location cookies.

  • You could search the source code of all the plugins you use for the keyword. However, the cookie could also be set by an externally embedded script.

    You are welcome to show a link to the affected website so that they can help you if necessary.

    I have now accessed many pages of your website. The cookie you mentioned was not set on any of them. How do you know about this? Did you set it earlier and it is still present in your browser, although it is no longer used?
