• The product seems great at first, but they seem to have lost any impetus to support it. The add-ons only randomly ADD ON when you try to add them from the Soliloquy Add-ons page in WordPress. It’s not a huge deal, but I’ve reported it a couple times and they do not respond. I paid for a lifetime license/premium support, because I’ve got 30 sites and would use this plugin a lot. It turns out that ALL of the user inputed data you add to the slides just randomly disappears. Links, Publish Date, Expiration Date, Captions, and any checked boxes uncheck on their own. The Scheduling add-on was my MAIN reason for purchasing. It seems to fail regularly. The instagram add-on will just snapshot images from an IG account. If you add more it does not ever update. Also text in the IG posts do not get included. I realize coding for 3rd Party Meta is a pain in the butt, but that’s why I was willing to pay for it.

“We believe that you shouldn’t have to hire a developer to create a WordPress slider.”
No, but they apparently feel you should be a developer to debug this product. Also their lengthy debug requirements do not work. There is never a log created when you follow their poor instructions.

I have contacted them a number of times. Mostly they don’t respond. When they do, it seems like a misdirect to waste your time and hope you go away. “Set us up an admin login [that we will never attempt to utilize].”

There are a lot of bells and whistles to be had here, I just feel like they are unreliable. As a consumer it feels like they wrote this a while ago, and have moved on. I’ll admit it if I am wrong and revise this review -actually this is my 2nd revision. I’m just frustrated. I’m not just poting pics of my dog on my blog. I have demanding media advertisers that expect their content to be displayed as agreed and to be able to click on that display to get more information. Is that so much to ask? I feel like I’m shooting myself in the foot posting this. But I’m so frustrated because one of the few substantive responses I got from them let me know others are experiencing similar issues. So I thought, “good, then they’ll fix this.” Not so. MONTHS. 5 Months I’ve had Soliloquy and I think 3+months its been a problem. If I’m wrong I’ll apologize.
