    Trying to connect versbeton.nl correctly with Jetpack so I can use the plugin update functions. In wp.com dash I get “This site cannot be accessed.” In the jetpack plgin’s debug screen I see

    [body] => {"error":"Communication error","error_description":"We were unable to make an XML-RPC request to your website. Please make sure that XML-RPC is turned on and that Jetpack is installed, activated and connected with your WordPress.com account. If the error persists, try disconnecting and connecting Jetpack again."}
        [response] => Array
            (
                [code] => 400
                [message] => Bad Request
            )

    I already tried reconnecting, to no avail. I also tried the four suggestions below, none of them did the trick. What else could it be?

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Could you check this post, and make sure you’ve completed steps 1 to 3? You can ignore the other steps, as your SSL certificate wasn’t issued by CloudFlare.

    Let me know how it goes.

    That worked! Thank you. This way I found out that I can’t use the Site management functions because you only update plugins that are in the official plugin directory. That’s too bad.
