  • Does the customer receive a confirmation?

WC doesn’t create invoices out-of-the-box. You can use a plugin for that.

    Hi oldeworldelace,

What payment are you collecting from your customers? If it is something like PayPal or Stripe, and the orders are coming in an being marked as Processing (which means payment was successful) you may be having a little trouble with your email sending function.

    More information here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/email-faq/

But if you are not using those gateways, then it could be handled differently – let us know more, so we can further advise!

    Hi there @oldeworldelace

Did Laurena’s advice above help our here?

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,

Sorry I am answering so slowly but I was out of town. The “Notice of a Sale” that I am receiving says that the sale is “on hold” rather than “processing”. How do I change that? Thanks again.

    Hey @oldeworldelace

If the email is “On-Hold” then this means that the payment has not been made for the order.

What payment method are you using?

A customer will get an email when the order is Processing or Completed.

    Thanks,
