    I am not sure if this is the problem with the interface between this plugin and MailChimp, or if it is MailChimp’s problem, but I am hoping you can give me some direction on where to get it resolved.

    Note: I can add new subscriptions without any problems -tried from a couple different computers. But it appears that one of my “testers” can’t complete the process, after several attempts getting the same error, so I think the issue is on her side.

    The above error: “We couldn’t process your request at this time. Please try again later”, occurs, after this particular person has submitted the form from the test page, and has received the confirmation eMail, clicked on the confirmation link, and got the “are you human” re-captcha page. Once they clicked on that submit button, the error is displayed.

    Here is the eMail she gets, which also shows the actual link used when she clicks on the confirmation button. And here is a screen capture of the error page she gets after submitting the re-captcha.

    Is it possible that it is a problem with her computers O/S version? Can you give me any guidance?

    If this error is shown after you click the link in the opt-in email it’s a problem with MailChimp, not with MailChimp for WP.

    Mailchimp itself deals with sending out the confirmation link and showing that captcha etc.

    I was afraid that was the problem.

    Would you by chance know if there is anyway to communicate this issue with MailChimp if you have a free account? I couldn’t find any way to reach them.

    I regret to say there is no easy way to contact MailChimp for users with a free account. You can check https://mailchimp.com/help/mailchimp-support-options/.

    I just came across this issue myself. The problem was that my browser was blocking the mailchimp scripts from running (I use brave). I tried the signup process using Chrome and everything worked fine.

    @jreeve0805 Perfect! Thanks for this. I also use Brave. Just tried Chrome and it worked. Months later and mailchimp was still not able to figure this out.
