Hi everyone using the Ultimate Member plugin,

Great day! I would like to ask for help with the display of the Ultimate Member plugin’s member directories’ search results. It displays correctly when I use my Administrator account but it does not show results when using non-Admin accounts. It just shows this statement “We are sorry. We cannot find any users who match your search criteria.” Please help me resolve this matter. Thank you.

    Hi @genemm

You need to go to Ultimate Member->User Roles->Those user role->Edit->Can view other member profiles and make sure to enable this.

    Thanks

    Hi Towhid,

I tried what suggested and it worked! Thank you so much for your help!

It doesn’t work for me. Same error still exists.

    Hi, @kernkraftx360

I double-checked this in the set up and as for you, the issue persisted for me too.

Did you find a fix? I’d be grateful I’m stuck with it, I can see there have been quite a few posts from those with a similar experience, I’m hoping if I ask someone will have a fix.

    Kind regards

    Hi @kernkraftx360 and @kir-201,

Great day! Since you have done what was mentioned by @cryptex_vinci, kindly show a screenshot of it so that I can check if you were able to follow it properly and so that I can help from there.

Hi there, thank you, I do have a screen shot but there’s no means to share it here.

I’ve checked the set up and double-checked, the crucial elements I believe, are to ensure that:
A – the user role you wish to display in the directory is checked where it says users to display, and
B – that in ‘user roles that can use filters’ you select the users you wish to access the directory filter.

I also have checked everywhere else to ensure nothing’s impacting the user type display. It isn’t. And anyway, it was working before, and does again if I roll back the instance of Ultimate Member (so long as I tweak to accommodate the new set up which separates filtering and search).

Also I ask show 9 different custom fields as filters, which all work in the last instance, only a few show up in the new instance.

    Grateful for any thoughts?

I really need your screenshot. You can put the link here for the screenshot, not the screenshot itself.

Here is a screenshot of the setting you have to enable to fix the problem:
