    Hello,
I have a marketplace from WC Lovers (WCFM marketplace) and I want the vendors to be authors too.
So I have assigned them both roles. But I am not completely happy.
Can you please help me how to restrict the roles? I would prefer if the seller / author can only see + edit his posts in wordpress, his own profile + media, his products and can use the blog designer pack and reusable blocks for his posts. The rest like Dashboard, Woocommerce, elementor etc. they shouldn’t see.
I tried to create a new role that combines farmer role and author role. But there are always errors with WCFM.
    Can you help me please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @fod85

?I apologize for the delay in response.

Members plugin allows you to manage roles and permissions from plugins and themes. We don’t have a section for each plugin. Plugin authors can use any capability they want, including custom capabilities to access pages and services. If you know which capabilities are required to edit those elements in WordPress dashboard, you can assign those capabilities to a user/role.

Keep in mind that many plugins create admin settings pages using a native capability associated with administrators, such as manage_options so in that case, you need to contact the plugin author.

    Best
