WCAG 2.1 Accessibility Issues within Glossary and Tooltips
-
Hello,
A client of ours has recently had some accessibility failures that come from the plug-in, it would be great if these could be investigated in a future release.
UK law now states that public websites should meet WCAG2.1 – meaning we would have to investigate in an alternative solution.Issues:
1.) Tooltips are not accessible from the keyboard – this occurs throughout the site where Glossary items appear, and on the Glossary Archive list – when navigating with a keyboard, tooltips do not appear.
2.) On the Glossary Archive List – There is a role of “tabpanel” on the “#glossaryList” element, whereas the child elements are part of a list, and are not “tabs” nor do they have a “tab” role.Kind regards,
Connect.
