  • Hey

I thought your plugin would automatically add this new email type for me to choose and use.

Unforutanly that isn’t how it works, woocommerce doesn’t have built-in actions and hooks for someone to edit email text with. You have to override templates to do it, so this plugin overrides and manages the templates for you and then exposes options to edit those emails. Right now there are overridden templates and settings for all the core emails and a few woocommerce extensions like woocommerce subscriptions.

Any other plugins have to have support added, this can happen from the side of the plugin authors or through our plugin. Since you have a premium plugin that we don’t have access to you will have to ask the plugin authors to add support for this plugin. Or ask them to contact us about adding support, for that to happen they have to give us access to the code so we can manage updates when that plugin updates.

I hope that clears things up.

Oh alright, thanks for the clarifications. I could send you a copy of this premium warranty plugin, but I assume you still need an official request from that author, right?

A copy doesn’t give me access in 6 months or a year and if I’m going to add code to support the plugin as well as override its email template I need access at any given time.

Being that it’s a premium plugin and this is not you should just be able to request they add support from there end, which is totally possible and would benefit all their premium users.

Yeah I’ll see if I can shoot them an email later on this. Not sure how receptive they are on these type of requests though. We’ll see. Thanks again.
