    Does this plugin work with WC Subscriptions for real or does it require silly PayPal reference transactions like the default Woocommerce PayPal plugin? Does it charge recurring payments automatically?

    Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway supports all the features of WooCommerce Subscriptions and it doesn’t require reference transactions. However, there are some requirements that you can find here.
