WC Shop front ignores Hero configuration

  • I have a WooCommerce site with the Brooklyn wordpress theme.

    When selecting the Shopfront display template the shopfront ignores the Hero content configuration that is in the template page. Causing the Shopfront to have a horrible temporary ‘replace me’ image. I have been able to replicate this multiple times by creating new pages, validating they look correct then changing the shopfront, the hero always comes back and looks positively awful!

    The Cart and Checkout both work perfectly with no issues what so ever.

    I am doing my best to avoid the Shop page entirely but there are some hard coded instances that I cannot change myself.

    Can anyone advise how I might be able to get this resolved?
