WC product importer not importing Attribute values

Hi,

I’m trying to use the WC product importer and trying to import a variation for a parent product with attribute values.

I’ve set up a sample import where I have the parent product with 3 colours: Brushed Gold, Matte Black, Gunmetal. The my child variation have one of these 3 colours. The importer almost works perfectly, however where I’m getting an issue is the attribute value of the child doesn’t seem to import properly. My issue is, when the import is complete I need to manually go to the parent product then configure the variations to the attribute value information. So under Variations> then click on the drop down “Any Colour” and select a colour, rather than it being imported from the CSV. I’m moving over info from another site, so I have 1000’sof SKU’s so doing this manually isn’t really an option.

What am I doing wrong? Can provide the CSV file.
