WC HPOS Issue

I have the following issue with a webstore that I created quite some time before the introduction of HPOS: I switched WooCommerce to the compatibility mode end of November and was able to activate HPOS after synchronising orders to the posts table.
However, after a few weeks of having the compatibility mode enabled I disabled it yesterday and had to notice after a new order came in that this new order had to be synchronised. So I had to enable the compatibility mode again.
The strange thing is, though everything is up to date (all plugins including wpml and also the site’s theme), that this issue occurred even when I disabled all plugins except WooCommerce just to make sure that no plugin creates some conflict. By the way, I never got a message while enabling the compatibility mode that some plugin would be incompatible.
So anybody an idea what could be responsible for this issue?

As far as I could see there are no fatal errors.
So far I haven’t run any database optimization or checked the database for any issues. To be honest I’m just a regular user, no pro.
Regarding custom code there are only codes added that I got from the wpzoom theme developer like the following ones:.cart .quantity input[type=”number”] { color: #fff; }

But since I also tested the issue with a wp standard theme getting the same result regarding HPOS I’ve come to the conclusion that my regular site theme does not cause the issue.
In the meantime I also had to realize that when I switch back to the WordPress posts storage (legacy) I get the message too that synchronization is needed after receiving a new order.

I deactivated WooCommerce and deleted it. After reinstalling it the same issue still persists ( I placed several test orders).

Regarding the shop_order post type in the system status report I forgot to mention that at the moment of getting it there was no active test order available (deleted it). I made one more test order and now the system report contains the following in terms of posts:

Since the migration process is done via the action scheduler and there are no fatal error logs, could please check if there are failing or pending actions with the followinghookandargument?

The failing or pending actions you mention are not there.

As I earlier wrote it’s no problem to enable HPOS mode via the compatibility mode. Orders get synchronized. But as soon as I disable the compatibility mode and a new order comes in synchronizing is required again though everything seems to be compatible.

Link to image: https://d.pr/i/Vq26FrIf that’s the case, then there’s no need to be concerned. The highlighted “Sync 1 pending order” link is relevant only if you’re trying to switch back to the post table. If you prefer to keep using HPOS, you can simply ignore it. :?)
