WC 3.0: FIXED – No emails sent upon payment pending to processing

    WooCommerce email notifications aren’t sending out.

    An order came in at around 9am, on PayPal. IPN updated the order from Pending Payment to Process, and email wasn’t sent.

    Checked dashboard at 11am and no email notification was sent.

    Checked WooCommerce developers updates (thankfully!) noticed that email sending is using WP Cron to schedule emails to be sent.

    Checked WooCommerce plugin Support here to find a “fix” that dis-allows transactional emails to be deferred.

    [Thoughts]
    I was wondering, in the event that WooCommerce decides to go ahead with WP Cron to assist with the deferring of transnational emails, how or where do I check to see if the emails are scheduled to be sent?

    I’m thinking that the developers are moving towards allowing the site admin to select whether to use deferred (WP Cron) or immediate transaction email notifications.

    Anyone else here are on a self-hosted linux (cloud or vps) and found another solution to allow WP Cron to handle and send the emails?
