• Hello,

since the new update of Woocommerce (3.0) the custom fields that I’ve sat up for woocommerce orders doesn’t work anymore.
I’m talking about custom fields created with ACF plugin.
They are correctly displayed on the edit order page of the backend. But when I change the value of the field and save the order, the page reloads, I’ve got the good confirmation message : “Order updated”, but the new value is not memorized.
It looks to have worked with the 3.0.1 update. But It’s not working anymore with the 3.0.4 version.
I’ve opened a ticket on ACF support but they ask me to open a ticket on WC support too.

    Any help is welcome.
    thanks.

    Hello there,
A little update on my case.
I’ve tried to update WC to 3.0.7 but it still not working so I’m stuck with 3.0.1.
May I have some help please?

    Hello,
looking for an answer for the same problem,… Once the ACF field is filled in on the WooCOmmerce order page and you want to change the value, the changes are not saved. In short, it’s impossible to change the ACF fields on the WooCommerce order page. This is very unhandy!

    I use:
    WordPress 4.7.5
    WooCommerce Version 3.0.5
    ACF Version 4.4.11

I hope someone has found a solution for this problem, your help is really appreciated. Thank you for your time!

The only thing that works for me now is to install again Woocommerce 3.0.1.
    You may try it.
But I’m still waiting for a better solution.

Hello Lyonbeton, going back to Woocommerce 3.0.1 is not really an option. Especially WC should be last updated version, security reasons plus all the template adjustments that had to be made,… Still hope to find a better solution for the WC plus custom field problems. Will let you know if I find one ofcourse!
    Cheers, Eva
