I’m running WP 4.3 and WC 4.2.6, also I’m running a fairly straight forward WooTheme as well.

WC allowed a user to back order a product 2 days ago which was at inventory 0 (changed to -1). I wrote it off as a glitch. Just to be safe I looked at all products and variations (about 200) to make sure I had them all set to “do not allow” (“no” in the db apparently), and all was well.

Last night, another product, which has been at 0 for sometime, got back ordered. I KNOW the inventory was at 0 and back orders were not allowed. Now I’m worried there is a bug or ?? Set up issue? Incompatibility??

Has anyone else had this issue?? I’m worried this will keep happening and I run a pretty thin inventory. Please help Woo’s ?? And thank you SO much for such an awesome plugin!!

What was the ‘type’ of the product which was purchased? Check that ones entries in the database.

Thanks for getting back Mike! I checked in the db (wp_posts) and didn’t see a “product_type”. Under post_type the are both classified as “product”. Neither are of variable product types.

Is that the information you’re asking for??

No. When you edit the product in backend you’ll see a dropdown for type. e.g simple, variable, grouped..

They are both simple product types.

Can you screenshot your inventory section then? Ill try your settings.

Sure Mike. Thank you for the help. I have no idea why its doing this since everything has worked so well up to this point.

Here are the two products inventory sections (note: I changed the framed print initially back to 0 when this first occurred. It formerly indicated an inventory of -1; just like the case).

Yeah, that’s what I thought and pretty much how it worked previously, so I have no idea how or why this happened; twice in 24 hrs to two different products, one of which I know was configured correctly.

I’m completely mistified.
