Waymark not picking up Memory Map waypoints

    Hi Joe,

    With Memory Map, I have created a GPX file of markers showing our trip around Scotland. I have converted the file to KML and GeoJSON but Waymark refuses to read the data in any format. I get a blank map.

    If I add a ‘route’ to the file it shows up but the markers don’t.

    When I added a second Waymark map to show the ‘route’ I find that the second map does not display!

    The page linked to is an attempt to show you what is happening. You can download the GPX, KML, and GeoJSON files from there if you wish.

    I will further test the second problem when I get a chance but if there is anything you can do about the markers not showing I would be most grateful. I don’t fancy adding all the markers in to Waymark one by one as I will be updating the Memory Map file from time to time and it’s easier to just import it … so I thought. ??

    Update:

    When adding the GPX file with the ‘route’ in it, the line displays in the admin section but disappears after updating the map. The ‘route’ is just a simple one with a few points on it.

    Ignore the bit about not being able to display multiple Waymark maps on one page!!

    Hi Phil,

    Thanks for reaching out once again. I believe I have fixed the Marker bug you described and have included them in an update (v0.9.4), please do let me know if this is not the case.

    I appreciated you providing the files, that was very helpful. I didn’t see any tracks/routes included though, so I was not able to test that. Also, with the exception of waypoints.geojson, none of the other GeoJSON files in the Zip included any location data, not sure if this is correct.

    Hi Joe,

    You have indeed fixed the Marker bug. Thank you.

    There were only waypoints in the files, no tracks or routes. Just a bunch of places we visited in Scotland over three weeks.
