Hi @peaksmedia,

Thank you for giving us this updated information with the site. I see you mentioned in the initial reply that conflict testing was done – normally there are logs stored should there be errors connecting to Stripe via WooCommerce Payments. To find these logs please go to WooCommerce > Status > Logs. On the right side will be a list of logs in a drop down menu separated by plugin type and then date (like WC Payments 10/28/21, etc). Please go to them and see if there are any:

– Fatal error logs (it will say fatal error or critical error, these will be separate logs entirely)
– Any Error items in the WC Pay logs (click to View a log, then do a Control + F / Command + F on Mac) and see if there are errors.

If so, please post the logs here. We took a look at the Checkout page here, and everything looked OK. We are not able to fully process a payment without the gateway being in test mode though, so we are not able to review the action of submission/hitting Stripe ??

If you have a staging site, feel free to open a ticket with us on WooCommerce.com and let us know the logs, and the staging site URL so we can do more testing.

Thank you Mike – really appreciate the support. I found the same instructions earlier today re the status/logs. Didn’t know they existed there!!! ??
I see there is another plugin with fatal errors in that section so going to test that out tomorrow on my staging site to see if that fixes the issue.
Will let you know if not – at this stage I have the cart working and processing orders but I had to put a patch on it:
add_filter( ‘woocommerce_defer_transactional_emails’, ‘__return_true’ );
this made the payments/checkout faster but … now I don’t get any emails. So will see if the other plugin is the issue and let you know.

Thanks for letting us know you found a plugin with some fatal errors and where you’re heading with it from here. Definitely let us know if this resolves the issue, but if not we’ll be happy to investigate further.

As Mike had mentioned before this may be a good point to open up a ticket with us at WooCommerce.com and reference this thread. If you do open this up please include the logs you came across, as well as the staging site URL so we can do more testing.

No luck with removing that plugin. Will do re opening a ticket thanks.
