    Edit
So with a bit more time I’ve managed to recreate the requirements I needed. As a result, I’ve changed the rating to an increased four stars.

The plugin is indeed fairly comprehensive so I think that depending on your requirements it could be a lot more than needed for something basic.

Kudos to the support team who also responded very quickly to my support email.

I’ve been testing a number of different FAQ’s and this has got to be the most complicated to set up. The YouTube explainer videos are pretty dismal and have a high number of downvotes so it’s not just me that thinks that.

The plugin looks good but I gave up in the end.

    Hi planb,

Sorry to hear about the trouble you had getting the plugin set up. Did you happen to get in touch with support? We’re here to answer any questions you have about setting up or using the plugin.

Would you be able to provide me with some examples of exactly what was too complicated?

The FAQs use a custom post type, so creating an FAQ is exactly like writing a new post in WordPress. No more or less complicated. And, to add them to a page, you can use either the included shortcode or Gutenberg block. So, that’s just one step, and the exact same process as adding any other element to a page in WordPress. There are some more in-depth features, for which you may need a bit of guidance, and for which we’ve created the tutorial videos. And, of course, if ever you have any trouble with those, we have our support team.

Also, there is a walk-through that runs when you install the plugin that should get you set up with a few FAQs. And you can re-initiate that walk-through at any point as well, if you wanted to get some of the basics re-done.

If you had/have an issue with any of this, our responsive support team can quickly get you pointed in the right direction. There should definitely be no instance in which it being too complicated is the reason not to use this plugin.
