• Hello all,

I’m looking for a simple way(even a hack) to use user passwords to unlock specific password protected posts. That is, to unlock a single password protected post-page; one that is associated with that specific customer.

I’m currently using a redirect plugin (Peter’s Login Redirect) to send users to their own post page after they login. I’ve password protected each post page, so that someone else can’t type in the exact url to see the content. The problem is that the user has to retype their password in the password-protected post field a second time because of this. Note*I’m manually setting the password to match (not a big deal because I don’t have a lot of users to worry about).

I would like to save them a step and use their password to unlock the post, while still presenting the password field to other users, such as admin (so that they can type in the password).

    Version of wp: 3.1.3
    Any ideas?
